Here is a ‘rough’ guide for the Summons found in Dissidia Final Fantasy for the PSP. I created this out of frustration on how my CPU opponent reaches 9999 BRV quickly. Through numerous attempts, trial & error, 2 pencils broken, I compiled a list of what you gain from using a summon.

I could have done this sooner, like in December a few days after its release. But my save game got corrupted when I updated my PSP’s firmware and the second time I played, a friend over-written my save data with a new game. So I have to start the game over again, twice.

This is by no means complete, ‘yet’. This guide is for personal use only. I mean I use it personally, but then decided to share it with you.

I also placed the ICON that appears after the summon is activated. It is written inside a (parenthesis) that is below the explanation.

I placed an S on the summons that activates only when your opponent activates his/her summon. Also the list is in the same order as the default when viewing it in game, when you haven’t ‘numbered’ the other summons.

The list is incomplete, as I haven’t got the other summons yet. But if you have a translation of the effect I haven’t listed here feel free to comment. Suggestions, comments, reactions, and corrections are welcome.

I will update the image, as soon as I’ve got new info.

FINALLY!!! This post has been on my saved drafts since October, I finally got a chance to post this.

It’s been a while since I last posted an update here. Aside from being busy at work, I was spending a lot of my free time outside on a long journey somewhere, or just at home updating a lot of stuff. I’m actually doing a couple of projects, both personal and professional, so most of my time are always occupied.

Going back to the topic at hand, I finally got a chance to post what most long time bloggers already have posted on their respective blogs. It’s that “The [insert item name here] that blogging bought” phrase.

It’s already late as I’ve got this quite sometime ago (I think it was last July). But anyway, here it is… the PSP that blogging bought me (including everything around it).

PSP slim

PSP slim

It’s relatively cheap compared to other bloggers that have bought a computer, DSLR camera, mobile phone, and even a car, just by blogging.

Most readers of this blog will notice that I didn’t placed any form of ads on this site. Well except for the Firefox link on the right, but that only gives me referral points not actual money. The ads only appear on my other site at Tambayan.ph. So that’s where the money is coming from.

I’m still being asked about why I didn’t placed any ads on this blog, since visitors and viewers here are already as high as those of Tambayan.ph. My only answer is this, “I don’t really like ads on a website”. Or rather too much ads can ruin what a website looks like. The ads that I’ve placed on Tambayan.ph serves (as of now) an experiment that I’m conducting. Statistics, analysis, data, research, and everything I could put up to see what would become of that website. The earnings from the ads, is just a bonus.

Oh and I put up another blog site… with ads of course… more about this on the upcoming weeks.

update: I’ve already put up my other blog site since I’ve last saved this draft last year… it is named TechieBubble.com.

Dissidia: Final Fantasy

Dissidia: Final Fantasy, the much talked about upcoming game for PSP will be released in Japan this December (and hopefully in the U.S. as well because we can’t read Japanese kanji). It will be a fighting game consisting of major heroes and villains from Final Fantasy I to Final Fantasy X. So that would be ten heroes and ten villains.

Check out this cool video featuring the characters of the game. As of this post, the characters shown are not yet complete.
