Clubhouse Sandwich by Yuumao

Normally when I watch an episode of an Anime, I generally watch the opening scene and the ending credits. It’s because I can see a preview of the characters and the Anime’s soundtrack. I usually do this on the first few episode of an Anime.

Genshiken 2

After watching the first episode of Genshiken 2, I immediately love the ending theme from the series. This is the second ending theme I like, first was from the Anime, Full Metal Panic Fumuffu. It’s not the lyrics, since I don’t understand Japanese, but the melody of the song. The song is titled Clubhouse Sandwich (クラブハウスサンド) by Yuumao.

You can watch and listen to the ending theme from Genshiken 2 at YouTube. But it is only a few minutes of the actual song, 1 minute and 30 seconds to be exact. And here is a rough translation of the lyrics. Take note that this is not an official translation and it is only for the first 1:30 minutes of the song.

Clubhouse Sandwich by Yuumao lyrics Japanese and English

yatoo hitotsu kanatta chiisai yume wo sodateta glory day yeah
I am nurturing my dream come true. Oh these are the glory days yeah!

soushite nani wo surukayori kimi to irukoto ga daiji ni narimashita
Being with you has become more important than doing anything else

paipuisu wo tataminagara
While putting away the folding chairs

henna fureezude utau mata ashita
I sing with that strange phrasing “See you again tomorrow”

ano toki no ashita ni nagaeba aemasuka
If I want to, can we meet in the tomorrow of that time?

tashika ni bokura wa koko ga daisuki de
We’ve actually grown to love this place

egao de ietanda bye bye
I was able to say with a smile “Bye bye”

itsudemo kimi no mikata ni naritai to
I always want to be on your side

Don’t place my heart aside

omoidasu toki ai wa soko ni kanarazu aru kara
Whenever you remember, you will always find love there
