December 21, 2012 is the end of the world… again.
I was browsing unread items on my feed reader when I came upon an entry on the Entertainment section. It was a movie titled 2012 and was shown the first of its trailer. Ok so it was very epic and destructive to say the least. We’ve all seen films like this, right?
At the end of the trailer it shows Google Search: 2012
So I did just that and found a lot of… search results. Most of the top pages tells (explains) why December 21, 2012 is marked for ‘yet’ another end of the world theories. This is because the Mayan calendar (13.0.0.0.0) when converted to our own calendar, will end on that day. So this is another apocalypse prediction, based on ancient civilization. Well, at least we knew that the Mayan’s are an advance civilization.
Mostly there are those who says that no doomsday will occur on 2021, since we’ve already passed y2k and some Nostradamus-predictions and stuff like that.
But if you are worried, and would like to see a countdown to the end of the world…
As of this post… The Countdown is on 1497 days, 9 hours, 31 minutes, and 21 seconds
Good night… ^_~
