I just changed the background and a few parts of the theme in my Friendster and Multiply profile. I changed this because I noticed that when I view my profile on my office computer, the background doesn’t look good. I’ve changed it to be viewable on 1024×768 normal screen resolution and compatible up to 1440×900 widescreen resolutions. Viewing my profile on a wider screen gives the full effect of the background.
Here is a sample screenshot. I used Google Chrome browser to get the full possible view.
My Friendster profile is graced by my ‘most’ favorite Anime character, Belldandy

(viewed on 1024×768 at home)

(viewed on 1440×900 in the office)
My Multiply profile is watched over by Saber.

Both Belldandy and Saber are my background image on my Phone. It is a flip-top phone that changes background when it is opened (touch screen mode) and closed (keypad mode).

I believe everything happens for a reason.
People change so that you can learn how to let go.
Things go wrong, so that you appreciate them when they’re right.
You believe lies, and eventually learn to trust no one but yourself.
And sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Here are a collection of website links that offers free viewing of shows, videos, and clips. Since I seldom watch TV, I always watch everything on my computer. You can find most of these stream sites on ovguide.com, there are a lot of video sources on that site. But anyway here is a rundown of some well-known stream sites.
- casttv.com – watch clips and videos of TV series, music videos, and more. It actually streams videos from YouTube.
- crunchyroll.com – there are a lot of video clips here that are mostly of Asian origin. Animes and TV dramas.
- dailymotion.com – another popular site that is similar to YouTube. There are also a lot of interesting educational and tutorial stuff here.
- hulu.com – another good video streaming site. There are also a lot of clips here.
- joost.com – this is just like your typical video streaming site. But there are some videos here that can’t be found anywhere else.
- metacafe.com – a dailymotion/Youtube-like site. Another set of video clips can be found here. There are also tons informative videos here.
- mysoju.com – is a place where you can watch your favorite Korean dramas/movies, Taiwanese dramas/movies, Japanese dramas/movies, Hong Kong dramas, and Chinese dramas.
- naruto-tv.com – watch free streams of Naruto and naruto Shippuuden episodes. And they are always updated.
- ustream.tv - I found this site after I’ve read about the Shino puppies. It features a live streaming videos of someone’s webcam. If you want to stream a video from your webcam, you can try their service for free. Although not all are live, some are early recorded.
- veoh.com – This place has a lot of good videos to watch from.
- vimeo.com – most news and movies trailers I’ve seen appears here first. But maybe because this site is not blocked on most companies like YouTube and Hulu.
- wonderhowto.com – a lot of How-to videos here.
- youtube.com – videos, clips, and more.
I didn’t include adult and pornographic sites, but I know you’ve already know them. I’ll update this post if I find more.
There are a lot more out there, I’ve just listed what I found on my bookmarks. I you know more just leave a comment here and I will add it to the list if it looks interesting.

Just comparing ISP at work and at home. I know there’s a big difference, since the company uses a dedicated ISP, and I, at home using only subscription broadband.
At work, fiber optics connection (FiberCity, 2 Mbps dedicated line)

At home, wireless broadband connection (Globe Wireless Broadband, 512 kbps burst speed)
