Finally I’ve uploaded to YouTube the 2 AMVs (Anime Music Videos) that I’ve created a couple of years ago. Both videos are originally encoded in MPEG format with a high quality settings. But I re-encoded it to a smaller AVI (I used XviD codec) video then I uploaded it to YouTube, so the quality maybe a little bit degraded.

My second attempt in making an AMV, after 5yrs. It still looks like an amateur video, but the quality and the audio I’ve used are quite nice. I don’t like to use quick transitions between frames and images, like most AMV’s coz the viewer may not get the message or the story of the video. The music used for this is an OPM (Original Pinoy Music) but the music lyrics is in english. The soundtrack I’ve used was inspired after watching the whole series and the song just came to mind.

This is the first AMV I’ve made, and it took 5 years after before I let it out to the world. Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within is one of the best CGI movies during the early years so I selected that for the video. The song is one of the OST for the movie, it is emotionally moving, and like the video it is full of drama. I forgot the original software I’ve used for this video, but I re-encoded it using Ulead VideoStudio. The video source is of low quality that’s why it’s a little bit blurry. This is my first attempt in making an AMV so I’m not sure if it looks great or is in-sync with the audio.
